Kristen Brittany Smith has always had a passion for leadership and service. She has been actively working on developing her skills to become a successful executive for the past seven years. She is a recent graduate of the E.J. Ourso Business School at Louisiana State University with a degree in General Business and minors in Leadership Development/Human Resources Education and Communication Studies. She is currently a Master’s of Public Administration candidate in the Public Administration Institute at Louisiana State University. She has worked with many service and community development organizations, nonprofit and event planning organizations.
Kristen’s professional experiences include a range of endeavors, including being the Assistant Coordinator for St. Gabriel Tax Center, interning for City Year of Baton Rouge, and coordinating the Mayor Summer Youth Employment Program. She was one of 20 students at Louisiana State University selecting to participate in Leadership LSU. She has attended many conferences around the state and abroad to further her knowledge in consulting, service, and leadership.
